“Corona-Daze” — A Pandemic’s Journal.15

It’s been two months since the last entry. You’d think there would be a lot to say, yet there is conflict as to what is worth saying. As this is a Pandemic’s journal, we’ll stick to the subject at hand. It has been drowned and buried as of late, yet holds its ground as the guiding force for this particular narrative. The masks, accusations, unemployment, violence, illness and fear plow ahead through our days, regardless of accuracy of numbers or of reports we are hearing.

A friend of mine, originally from a country in Southeast Europe, runs a small business in the Chicago area. In order to safely open, she had a family member ship her Hydroxychloroquine to take prophylactic-ally. It is sold over the counter in her country of origin, but she can’t get it here unless she is hospitalized. She is Democrat and will vote that way. Her words: “They don’t care about us. It is only about money.”

Another friend went away to college a month ago. He was invited to 3 “Covid Parties” within the first 2 weeks of being there. Think chicken pox, and you’ll understand. The 2020 version is that as soon as someone tests positive, some other students pay him or her to attend a party and interact with everyone so that they’ll all get infected. The idea is to get it now, before finals, and then relax for the rest of the semester. My friend returned home and will complete the semester online. The infections on campus were increasing daily and he did not want to participate. He will vote Democrat. Note that if you hear about this in the media at all, you’ll hear how a certain college campus is now rampant with the virus, just days after re-opening. You will not be told that this is by design or that most of the positive tests are from healthy students who intentionally infected themselves.

This is a virus with a greater than 99% survival rate. One month ago, the CDC said this (click here for full article); 94% of deaths listed as “Covid19” were of people who had one or more underlying conditions. Today’s USA death toll is 205, 372, according to the CDC’s main page. 6% of that number, or 12, 322, is the death toll of people without comorbidities. This is the total number, being tallied since January 2020. 193,050 people on that list who died had other contributing factors. The total reported positive case number today, according to the CDC, is 7,168,077. The percentage of deaths without contributing factors is .00171. This is far less than 1%. For this, we have shut down a world.

It is a confusing time and your internal compass will have to work overtime to ascertain which direction to head in order to discover the truth. We are all doing the same, and coming up with different answers. My two American friends mentioned above believe the Democratic party is the answer. Although I am a lifelong Democrat, I am not convinced. I have other friends who believe the Republican party is the answer. I am not so sure of that either. I’ll continue to pay attention; there is a month yet to get through.

There are expectations of further chaos and possible cataclysmic events, mandatory vaccines, food shortages, and more, depending on who you listen to or what you are reading. A fascinating and illuminating documentary on Netflix is out now; “The Social Dilemma”. It will change the way you think about what shows up on your news feed. It is chilling. What becomes most important is our point of origin. It is our energy, our mood, our strength and our frequency. These are the contributions to our 3D lives, in each moment and every year; even this one.

Here’s what I’ll leave you with. I believe that we are witnessing the last gasps of a dying fist of control. It is not a democratic or a republican fist, but one of a darker hue controlling parts of both. It still holds the media, which is evidenced by the virtually identical headlines displayed in today’s photo. I saw no clear “win” in last night’s “debate”. It was more of a pissing contest by two boys in a schoolyard. If you honestly believe that in this hotly contested political race, you are hearing someone’s non-partisan voice, let me know just who that voice belongs to. I believe that there are no places showing you an unbiased view, including this journal. We are each defining our truth and it is based on what we believe is possible. This Presidential Election is just one component of a global story. We are transforming a world.

My take is informed by a conversation I’ve been having with One. It tells me that there is a place we are headed that is exceptional, free, motivated by love rather than money, and very, very close. The controllers have no hands of manipulation in this place. We will get there in our lifetime, step by step. Here is a sample of that conversation: (click here for an excerpt).

We are not there yet, but we are getting so very much closer. Hang in there everyone. Hold those you love close and your heart will be full. I believe in you. I believe in us. I believe in love.
